How I work
I start with evidence: the documents, the data and the constraints as they actually are, gathered and planned with AI at the table. From that I write the governing documents before any code exists: what the system is for, what it must never do, and what counts as done. Only then does building start, with security and tested practice in the structure from the first commit rather than added at the end.
Every number I publish traces to a ledger entry with its evidence and the commit it was checked against. Every system separates what works, what is validated, and what is still in development. The known gaps are on the page.
Architecture and fabrication
I started as a CAD drafter with Terzis Architects in the New York metro area, detailing and overseeing fit-outs. By 2005 I was an intern architect running projects as a project manager at FBT Architects in Albuquerque, where I executed a $28M state-wide school roofing contract within one yearC1 and managed the $23M New Mexico State Capitol Parking Garage through all phasesC2. At Bloom Miami I designed and oversaw the fabrication of high-end travel retail: kiosks, gondolas, wall units and temporary installations in airports and on cruise ships across the United States and Latin America. In Brazil I co-founded a custom furniture and fabrication company that built entire apartments and shopping-mall kiosks across Brasília. Today I am Head of Architectural Services at CADHERO, overseeing construction-document production for architecture and engineering clients across the United States.
Each of those jobs taught the same lesson. The work is not the product. It is understanding the problem underneath it and the limits around it, then designing a response that holds inside those limits. Manage the problem and the design answers it; do both, every time, and the result arrives whole.
Since 2024
Since 2024 I have built AI systems for the industry I know. An estimating system governed by a master workbook, so every price can be read and audited. A client portal that shows a client their project in plain view with instant updates, while nothing is published without approval. A personal AI runtime that cannot widen its own authority.
The medium changed. The thinking did not. I decide what the system is for, what it is forbidden to do, and what the finished outcome must be. AI agents execute against written guidance, and that guidance is ready only when the outcome is explicit and agreed.
What I am looking for
A team that wants a designer's and an architect's discipline inside AI systems development, or in a strategy role over real operations. I also consult: prototypes, internal tools and AI implementation for firms that want their services, teams and margins to work better.
